ACID REFLUX
This condition features a burning sensation, often pain — in the lower chest region. When stomach acid makes its way back into the esophagus, it is known as GERD: Gastroesophageal reflux disease.
INTERNAL BLEEDING
Bleeding inside the stomach can often be the result of peptic ulcers. Signs of internal bleeding include esophageal inflammation, abdominal pain, and rectal pain.
IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME
Also known as IBS, irritable bowel syndrome may result in abdominal pain, gas, and constipation/ diarrhea. Triggers for IBS include diet, stress, and hormones.
ABDOMINAL PAIN
Pain in the abdomen could be the result of many causes including, but not limited to: ulcers, gallstones, indigestion, and gastritis.
LIVER DISEASE
Also known as hepatic disease, liver disease can be genetic. It can also be the result of damage, obesity, virus, and alcohol abuse. May result in dark urine, pale stool, and abdominal pain.
HEMORRHOIDS
Hemorrhoids are the result of swollen veins in the rectum. There are both internal and external hemorrhoids, both which may cause discomfort or pain.
